The beginnings of Airbnb as a bed and breakfast website now evolved to a hospitality system and lodging resource for travellers is a quaint depiction of a well-known business industry leader. Their background shows the ingenuity that perseverance against all odds pays off in the end and can eventually catapult you to success in a field you’re passionate about. Airbnb reviews give us different dimensions to this picture of their company Airbnb.
More on its Origins
Airbnb is a website founded in 2008 for customers to list, find and rent lodging or accommodation. They manage more than 2, 000,000 properties listings scattered in 34,000 cities within 190 countries. They are headquartered in San Francisco, California.
The brainchild began as a bed and breakfast site back when its founders Brian Joseph Chesky, CEO and Joe Gebbia rented out their joint living room to a paying guest with a real-life bed-and-breakfast setting accommodation. This is the background of Airbnb, which stemmed from their side “Air Bed and Breakfast” business, adorning their room with three air bed mattresses and exchanging this service along with a homemade breakfast for rent.
Airbnb’s CEO, Brian Chesky was born on August 29, 1981 and grew up in Niskayuna, New York where he met Airbnb co-founder Gebbia at the Rhode Island School of Design. Harvard graduate Nathan Blecharczyk is recognised as Airbnb’s third founder.
Comments and Reviews
Other Airbnb reviews find their website in particular not too impressive. Some say that it is ”content heavy, cluttered, and slow,” ultimately distracting them from their search. They have a mysterious customer support system that seem to vanish when they are needed.
The hotels and lodging they do secure sometimes end up being really unexpected with no one you can complain to. They were sometimes so mangey and gritty that Airbnb reviews were completely aghast at the treatment they received from the company. Other Airbnb reviews advise you to “proceed with extreme caution.”
Their website at Airbnb.com is actually pretty great. A large video screen with captures of people doing certain activities such as preparing for bed or watering their plants is one of their most noticeable features. Highly creative and with beautiful images, there’s a lot to see.
Their wish list displays a number of icons of places with the number of Airbnb listings in the area. Special procedures are to be followed if you are doing corporate travel, simply indicate your business so that you can be reimbursed for the amount by your company. Using Airbnb will help you discover the perfect place where you can spend your trip conducive to your intended business, be it a cozy nook near an office or a cost-efficient spot with everything you need for day-to-day.

Their website is highly original but expresses restraint. They obviously aimed to make their site appear hip and they are successful but they are not extremely great, coming across more as fair and brilliant. They could at least strengthen their customer service by explaining some of their procedures to customers to enhance positive Airbnb reviews.
