A free service that makes travel research more convenient? That’s a promising idea. When you’re online, you’ll get to discover a variety of websites with their own features. Each of these cater to a specific purpose. But using some applications, even with minimal information, can lead you from one place to another. The next thing you know, you’re instantly more knowledgeable in travel, knowing things you didn’t initially think of.
That is the beauty of some services as we shall see in this Bookingbuddy review. They give us, in the face of variety, something new.
The Beginnings of a Service
Bookingbuddy is a free application that helps travellers search a large number of travel websites using less time “with fewer clicks.” This service scans through possible options based on the criteria that you entered and gives you the most affordable prices. Comparing the results is easy, and so is searching for other deals in hotels, cars, cruises and vacations.
It was launched in September 2003. Daniel Saul is the CEO and founder of Smart Travel Media which owns and operates Bookingbuddy.com and other top travel websites.
According to The Charlotte Observer, it is “easy to use and [searches] a wide variety of published airfares with a single click.” Mr. Saul is aware of the pressing need to locate the best deals online, and has taken new steps towards delivering their vision of a quick, comprehensive travel search experience.
Booking According to their Buddies
Feedback about Bookbuddy isn’t alway positive. The common problems that travel services share are cancellations, arrangements or services. Getting a refund for a cancellation is difficult.
Others complain that the rates still look expensive. This leaves users the opinion that the service isn’t reliable. The time-saving that they claim they can bring equates in reality to people getting lost on their website or having difficulty narrowing down their choices, or coming up with any plausible one. As we shall see in the next section of this Bookingbuddy review, their website has its weaknesses.
However, these same reviewers say that Bookbuddy “has potential” and should improve its prices so that people won’t use another method.
Buddying Up with the Website
In this Bookingbuddy review, we’ll focus on their website. Upon landing, you’ll see that there’s a lot to take in. The appearance can be dizzying and the texts have varying sizes. The site concentrates heavily on its Travel News section at the bottom left.
However, you can save up to 30% when you combine flights and hotels. You can sign up for e-mails online. They have Top Travel Deals. Car and cruise services available can also be seen here in this link. Searching for the perfect Vacation Rentals is easy when you compare their hottest deals.
Bookingbuddy.com selected the layout and content for their web page and they have their own reasons. Some may find their particular approach appealing, but from a general point of view, it isn’t highly attractive. But one can easily imagine that it serves its purpose and has its own set of fans. When you actually visit their official blog, all the text and images get jumbled together in a heap. According to this Bookingbuddy review, it isn’t very convincing.
The downside is in how it is structured. You’d have to manually type in each entry, the site is apparently slow too. Some would give up and look at the individual travel sites instead. Basically, their website could be reinvented. It would make a huge difference.

Bookingbuddy doesn’t really stand out. It has a unique point but its website fails to deliver. Sometimes, site visitors get fed up with the confusing site.
They had been called to improve their services if they wish to stick around. Since it’s free, everything seems more beneficial but this comes with a price. You can get any deal that you want with it, but you’ll have to be patient and overlook the facts that it doesn’t always save you the time that it advertises but will cost you in other things.
Overall, this Bookingbuddy review sees the highs and lows of the service. After reading this, would you try it out?
