Getaroom Reviews

From its evolution as a brainchild of its two founders, Getaroom has a story that would make us expect that it’s a different class altogether. From Diener and Litman’s ventures in the travel industry to the founding of Getaroom, time will be its ultimate test.

Getaroom reviews already are versions of its trials in the public. At this point, the website is known to perform in a certain way that makes its mark on people.

Getaroom is a hotel reservation website that allows its users to book hotels and find deals from top locations. Their website displays its access to more than 80,000 hotels worldwide. On site, you can “read hotel reviews and view photos for over 100, 000 hotel properties.”

Robert B. Diener and David Litman founded Getaroom in 2009. They were also behind in 1991. Both of them had attended Cornell University Law School. Robert “Bob” Diener is Getaroom’s President aside from being a co-founder. He’s a travel expert and regular guest for various radio stations and programs. Similarly, David Litman brings 25 years of travel industry experience to Getaroom.

Get an Idea from their Customers

When you check on Getaroom reviews, you’ll notice a pattern in people’s comments. Their main issue is when they actually book a service. They get charged extra because the office is in the U.S. and they are in a different country. If only Getaroom warned their customers properly before this happens.

Other times, they suddenly cancel a booking providing no explanation or they will aggravate the situation when a customer cancels his booking. In the latter, you can’t escape from contacting them, and their representatives were seen as blunt and unhelpful.

Face the facts when you see a website that doesn’t scream out for attention. The words to describe are sleek and clean. An image of a locale behind the search function doesn’t just arouse your curiosity. It makes you feel more secure in the knowledge that they know what they are doing.

You see what you get. Even if Getaroom reviews will rarely discuss the state of their website, you get the impression that it’s such an important factor. In their case, they made your own task simpler by weeding out excess and leaving us with the most important sections. This is a big deal for users but might underwhelm those seeking for more information. They have more than enough of this seen in their lists of resorts and hotels.

You can also books activities, cruises, transfers and cars. A Testimonials link can be spotted at the base of this site. They further explain their Best Rate Guarantee in that they will refund you the difference or fully if you find a lower price of the same accommodation and type within 24 hours.

Overall, the majority of Getaroom reviews are negative. They only confuse their customers with the muddled service which they are currently providing. At least explain to them the reasons behind your price increases or any other other cancellations so that they can leave feeling better. So far, Getaroom looks like it’s erratic and unreliable.

Give them a break, these problems are as common as weeds in travel agencies. And it takes first-hand experience to check if they;re as unreliable as they sound,. As with everyone else, customer service will NEED to be improved.

  2. Kris Pratt says:

They don;t seem reliable at all and they look like they’ve got pretty bad customer support. Anyone recommend another hotel website?
