We all need guides to help us in our travels, be it an online travel agency, a travel agent or expert or even a place guidebook and website to enlighten our path towards the right direction. Without them we’d be lost in the wilderness, in a foreign place where knowledge would be a highly valuable asset.
HotelGuides reviews show us what kind of website this American travel agency operates and whether or not they can be trusted to help us travel.
Illuminating its Background
HotelGuides is an online travel agency started in 2002 and based in South Carolina. At their latest count, they have 25 US-based employees. The company garners an A+ from the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
According to their Who We Are section in their About Us page, “We genuinely care about the people who use our service, and we do everything we can to help them.” In this sense, they are fully welcoming to any comments and suggestions their users have for them. They maintain being accommodating to their customers, you can contact them via their Contact Us page here.
Their Official Website
Their site at hotelguides.com is a little bland but it suffices its purpose and somehow manages to excel in looking very well-kempt. It’s well-organised and laid out some of its information in such a way as to be very easy to navigate through the website’s entirety.
Hotels from North America: Us Hotels and Canada Hotels including Other Countries and Hotels near Attractions are shown on their upper tabs. You can easily search for hotels and discounts using their search engine at the middle of the page. At the middle of the site, there are long lists of hotel guides which you can click the links of various categories of hotels from all over the Americas and the world.
HotelGuides is proudly made in the USA, all their employees and call center agents reside in the US. They also recently followed in the footsteps of other websites who included TripAdvisor reviews in their content.
The 4,800,000 people who had successfully reserved through it can’t be wrong; their website is efficient and a lot of things can be accomplished by manipulating the tools or browsing through each section until you find what you are looking for.
How People See it
Few HotelGuides reviews exist or none at all. We do not really need to rely on HotelGuides reviews to be convinced whether or not to use their website. As we can base this judgement on our own opinion: their website is typical in primary colour style or the colours of American flags. It comes off as old-fashioned and it doesn’t run out of the appeal of its convenience.
It may not blow you away but their trademarks and signatures such as their Satisfaction Guarantee or their All-USA-resident employee all stabilise their strong impact. They’re pretty memorable and it’s easy to see how all those known customers were able to use the service to their advantage.

Overall, Commendable and Special
I think that there should be more HotelGuides reviews out there to guide us along with our own travels. Their website is interesting and they have a lot of things that make them stand out. They’re sure to keep their loyal supporters if they maintain their performance and stay credible.
