Marriott hotels are a popular hotel chain. Who knew what interesting facts and factoids we would uncover through these Marriott reviews? Apparently, they have a fascinating history under works, with a colourful past and distinct origins that when known to people, would add flavour to using one of their hotels or lodging properties.
Our Marriott reviews seek to delve deeper into what we now know of them and their deals and hotels website.
More about the Service
Marriott International, Inc. franchises a number of hotels and lodging accommodations. It was founded by J. Willard Marriot in 1993 in Washington, D.C. Marriott the company started back in 1927 from a humble root beer stand with his wife and Alice Marriott. Seeing the gap for a place for a cool drink, Marriott eventually opened a chain of restaurants and hotels. Marriott is the first hotel company to let customers book reservations online. This was in 1995.
Its President and CEO is Arne M. Sorenson. He is a graduate of Luther College and the University of Minnesota Law School and had practised law specialising in mergers and acquisitions litigation. He was born in Tokyo, Japan and is the first non-Marriott member to be the head of the company. On their website wherein you can book accommodations, he has his own blog along with Bill Marriott of the Marriott clan.
Discover People’s Perceptions
Marriott reviews are hard to come by: the ones about their booking and deals site. If we could only secure information about how people think about the user interface or about the actual performance correlating the images of the rooms perhaps and their actual appearance. These factors make up other reviews and would certainly illuminate our own Marriott reviews.
Their website is rather disappointing for something that is so famous. It is simple but the problem lies with its haphazard quality. It seems that they put little thought into it and you’d expect more from a company that is really famous, something a little more creative or at least more organised. They aren’t that impressive, website-wise, and the Marriott reviews about this particular site are not to be seen which is a bit odd.
A Glance at their Website
I personally think that their website’s appearance is great. A very large image of the exterior or verandah of a resort or hotel is in the middle of the site, on which is placed the search engine for searching for hotels by timeframe.
You can check in using your mobile device. Despite these conveniences, using their site can be a little confusing. They mean well with their impeccable design but the links and content are all over the place. In fact, it’s downright frustrating. You don’t expect the way that items were grouped together. You may have to check and read every bullet off the list of links to see and double-check even, to get to where you want to go. There is no clear delineation of how these items were arranged. A vague connection or category groups them together but that is something that you do not know.
