Rate this post Reviews logo ReviewsFrom Quikbook’s beginnings as a lesser-known entity in the industry to a bigger player in the market, Quikbook users find the travel company an increasingly familiar presence in the Big Apple. Using them is a surefire way to get around places in America at great discounts. It is a satisfying experience to do business with an efficient company and we see in some reviews what others have to say about theirs.

A Quick Glance at its History

Founded in 1998, Quikbook began as a call-centre hotel reservation service that expanded into a provider of discounted hotels rates accessible via online or through their call centre. Quikbook concentrates on reserving boutique airlines across the country and Canada.Their Hotel Profiles features the amenities, location, photos, maps, and customer reviews of each hotel for their customer’s convenience.

They work towards the lowest price possible for each night’s stay at a hotel, refusing association with applying hidden fees and surcharges unlike their fellow similar businesses. To their competitors, they single themselves out as the “friendly, flexible alternative.”

Its President is Ray Vastola, a Master’s degree holder from Harvard Business School.

An Exchange of Views

They don’t exactly arouse you too much into thinking that they are a highly reputable company despite their dealing with high-class hotels. We half-expect reviews to border on the middle, which they do as at is gets a 3.5 out of 5 and at Tripadvisor it gets 2 out of 5 which are both average scores.

One reviewer says that they are “not worth using.” People with reviews come to this conclusion when they had a negative experience. The usual concerns are repeated with them, cancellation and payment issues with credit card authorisations or others.

However, a healthy prevalence of positive reviews is likewise present. These say their customer support was great and helpful and that they’re quick to amend any situation or that their service was more than satisfying. website ReviewsTheir delightful official blog, seen here, offers not only articles mostly about different hotels worldwide but video footage of  hotel rooms and lists about hotels and boutique hotels. In fact, even on their home page do we see Hotel Confidential and Hotel Videos.

You’re immediately greeted by a semi-large image flush at the center of the screen. Inside this box is the usual search option and another moving video. You’re left to wonder if they ever have any slow server issues due to the preponderance of videos embedded in their site.

Their boutique hotels are usually in the Big Apple but for “little apple” prices, according to Toronto Star. Side by side lie these news articles from major regular press and papers at In the Press. For more information, offers and updates about, kindly refer to their Twitter account here.

Last Word logo 2 ReviewsI think Quikbook seems a little informal, given having to drop a letter in its name. They have the usual complaints which we don’t get tired of in Quikbook, com reviews and which we have learned to bypass towards the more important elements needed to dictate our travel a success. On the other hand, their rates seemed to be significantly lowered and should you go to the area, they’re one to be considered to use.

  2. Questor says:

This is probably the most ambivalent site to use. In the end, they’re pretty predictable and they’re nothing I hadn’t seen before.

  3. The Cruz says:

I guess they’re pretty average, don’t do much to stand out despite being in the big city, I wouldn’t suggest them to anyone if I could as I barely trust their brand name either!
