Skyscanner Reviews

A good travel website has the whole package. Even the history of its founders plays a role on how impressed we can get with a certain service. It takes more than simple satisfaction, but an element of enjoyment is necessary to make us feel that we got a great deal the best possible way.

From Skyscanner’s unique colour scheme to its Skyscanner reviews, we get a glimpse into the minds of IT geeks who meant to change the landscape of travel.

Looking at its Legacy

Skyscanner is a global search website that allows its users to search, compare and book flights from thousands of airlines, hotels and cars services. It leads you to the airlines’ or travel agency’s website for your booking purposes. Their search engine spans months to years, giving you access to a flexible time schedule.

Skyscanner CEO Co-Founder Reviews

Skyscanner s CEO and Co-Founder Gareth Williams

Headquartered in Scotland, Skyscanner has offices in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Beijing, Miami and Barcelona. The company was formed by IT professionals Gareth Williams, Barry Smith and Bonamy Grimes in 2001 and was launched in 2003. It was borne from CEO Williams’ frustration over searching a lot of travel websites to adequately answer his needs. Skyscanner then became the leading flight search engine in Europe currently translatable to over 30 foreign languages.

Gareth Williams was born in Norwich, England, he studied mathematics and computing at Manchester University.

Discover how its Customers View it

Most of Skyscanner’s users were rather miffed with their service, which is disappointing as we expect a lot from them based on their history. Skyscanner reviews are also negative.

Customers wonder how they could use it as a comparison website when its prices shown are inconsistent. They have trouble receiving and arranging their refunds when prices do change. Some Skyscanner reviews, on the other hand, are positive. These people share that their experience was made easy and the site was useful and a time-saver.

Its Online Presence

Skyscanner service banner ReviewsTheir website is fine in appearance, being black and electric blue. It seems to reflect the self-confessed “geek’ personality of its owners and looks trustworthy and professional enough.

Their site has Flights, Hotels and Car Hire options – their services — at the very top. They don’t provide booking on their site though, but lead you automatically to the actual link where you can book. Their Explore option at the bottom seems likewise promising,

Also on their homepage are sections on ideal travel destinations, selected featured airlines and advertisement for trips and links to their proffered Skyscanner mobile app Reviewssearches in car hire. Most of their Travel News and Features are lists relating to world travel and are all interesting to sift through.

Using their free mobile app — with its link here — makes searching through a large number of hotels, flights and car services easy and simpler, saving you time, money and effort.

Here is a link to some of their most popular questions, the presentation of which is truly remarkable. For more information, offers and updates about Skyscanner, kindly refer to their Twitter account here.

Hip, Cool and Modern

Skyscanner office ReviewsSkyscanner is a great website to use, despite the number of Skyscanner reviews which indicate otherwise. The professionalism in its approach and their youth-oriented design all make using it a pleasurable enjoyable experience. It’s also very quick, time-busting being a topic of positive Skyscanner reviews.

Site and concept fair enough, not so sure about how they handle issues though.

They look like a great site, great service but they have those dime a dozen issues agencies usually have. I would have expected that they’d gotten around that
